The Milwaukee native that goes by the name of Lakeyah Danaee started music after admiring the state self expression through poetry. The teenage rap star fuses elements of R&B and HipHop. She notes HipHop legends Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Tee Grizzly, and Beyonce’s unbeatable work ethic. Early 2018 she released a rap series of songs called “Fucked Up Love Story” influenced by R Kelly’s “Trapped In The Closet” series. The songs did 1.1 million views on both Facebook and Youtube. Currently she has teamed up with TMCRichh and she is releasing her first body of work titled “The KeyMix”. Lakeyah Danaee is well on her way to becoming the next big thing out of Milwaukee.
