Sphamandla Phila Zondo, born on 18 March 1998 and professionally known as ANDRWMAARS (pronounced Andrew Mars), is a dynamic South African rapper, songwriter, record-producer, and graphic designer. Hailing from the vibrant Umlazi R Section in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, ANDRWMAARS has carved a unique path in the music industry with his distinctive style and creative vision. ANDRWMAARS began his musical journey in 2012, recording his first freestyle alongside his late friend Bongokuhle 'Sir B' Mbhele. This early start laid the foundation for what would become a remarkable career in music. In June 2019, AndrwMaars made his official debut with the EP BAARS IN ITALY , a collaborative project with Italian beatmaker/producer D-D Beatz. This release opened doors to the Sicilian Hip Hop scene and was quickly followed by a feature on D-D Beatz's single "Vivo," featuring Nebula. His single Oh God. was released later that year, coinciding with the joyous announcement of his son's birth, Phila-Jr Coco, in July. October 2019 marked a significant milestone in ANDRWMAARS's career with the release of his 22-track debut mixtape Coco Wrld. Featuring a host of talented producers including D-D Beatz, Brianthasensei, the mixtape showcased his versatility and received widespread acclaim on social media.
